Daniel’s first professional foray into web development was helping to launch a national arts nonprofit’s new Drupal 7 website back in 2013, while learning about the many ways the CMS can be used to organize a website ecosystem that’s easily approachable by managing editors that may not have a lot of technical experience. In the decade since, he has continued to grow his expertise in all things Drupal, keeping on top of the latest trends, updates, and best practices with new Drupal releases and community contributions, developing his own Drupal themes, modules, and websites, and naturally harvesting a plethora of front end web development skills applicable to all sorts of web-needs, Drupal or otherwise, along the way. In his free time, Daniel enjoys playing guitar and video games, and going on long runs through the many trails near his home in the Washington, DC area.
